Shark's Fin

Shark's fin is an ingredient traditional boiled in a soup, much favoured by Chinese in an expensive meal. It is derived from the fins of shark, dried thoroughly before being put up for sale. Shark's fin on its own is tasteless. The taste in the soup is provided by other ingredients. Dealers in shark's fin also deal in other dried sea products like sea cucumber, dried fishmaw and abalone.
