Greetings to the Agri-Food Community in Singapore!
It is my privilege to extend warm greetings to Singapore’s dynamic agribusiness sector. As the Chairman of the International Association for Agricultural Sustainability (IAAS), I recognize the vital role that collaboration, innovation, and sustainability play in shaping the future of global agriculture.
In response to the growing urgency for sustainable agricultural solutions, IAAS remains at the forefront of fostering international cooperation, driving technological advancements, and promoting sustainability across agriculture, aquaculture, and the food industry. Through our initiatives and bottom-up approach, we continue to engage stakeholders worldwide, ensuring that sustainable practices are integrated into every aspect of the agri-food value chain.
In 2025, IAAS will host the 10th International Agriculture Innovation Conference (IAIC) in Sweden, themed “Carbon Capture through Entrepreneurship.” This landmark event will provide a global platform to explore the pivotal role of entrepreneurship in advancing carbon sequestration efforts across water, forest, and soil ecosystems. As climate change accelerates, scalable and innovative carbon capture solutions are imperative to achieving environmental resilience.
IAIC 2025 will bring together policymakers, scientists, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs to exchange insights, showcase cutting-edge research, and discuss business-driven strategies for carbon capture and storage. The conference will feature keynote presentations, expert panels, and interactive sessions, fostering cross-sector collaboration and actionable solutions to address climate challenges.
Furthermore, IAAS Nexus, our global integration platform, continues to strengthen international partnerships through AgriNexus, AquaNexus, and FoodNexus -
dedicated to addressing key sustainability challenges and accelerating ESG-driven innovation. By uniting government agencies, research institutions, and industries, we are shaping the future of sustainable food production systems through policy advocacy, technology adoption, and entrepreneurial transformation.
As we look ahead, IAAS remains steadfast in its commitment to building resilient food production systems, promoting climate-smart agricultural practices, and advancing a sustainable global agribusiness ecosystem. We welcome industry professionals, organizations, and institutions to join us in driving meaningful impact and pioneering sustainable solutions for future generations.
Together, let us forge a path toward a more sustainable, resilient, and innovative agricultural future.
