Hai Sia, translated from Teochew, means the sound of the sea. From her humble beginnings in 1976 as a hawker stall at Mei Ling Street, Hai Sia has grown to be a familiar establishment at Jurong Fishery Port.
We are committed to supplying good seafood at competitive prices - because we believe seafood should be accessible and affordable.
Here at Hai Sia, we sell both fresh and frozen seafood.
For fresh seafood, our competitive advantage lies in the procurement and processing of seafood, especially fish. Some examples of fresh seafood we process in significant volumes include batang (spanish mackerel), chinese pomfret, grouper, salmon, seabass and threadfin. Apart from fish, we also handle fresh crabs, squids and prawns.
For frozen seafood, we tap into an extensive network of seafood sources. Hai Sia's suppliers are curated from Australia, China, France, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, the Maldives, Norway, Taiwan and the US.
