ingapore Florist Association (SFA) was founded in 1974, based on the belief of promoting Singapore floristry on the international platform and also to safeguard against external costing pressures by wholesalers.
Through the years SFA has evolved with various leadership at the helm. Just last year, the SFA represented Singapore in a floral arrangement competition at the Taichung World Floral Expo in Taichung Taiwan, and clinched 3 individual bronze medals which was commendable for a country called the garden city.
Moving forward in the current state of the pandemic and for future planning, as an association which looks out for businesses within the same industry we look forward to ensure fluidity of trade processes between the wholesale countries and Singapore. Above and beyond we seek newer and fresher blood to come onboard with fresh ideas to bring our association to the next level.
During this pandemic while the world pauses, we seek to constantly be progressing. We will take any opportunity available to assist the industry as most are sole proprietors or SMEs, and more support would ensure that they are able to stay afloat and rise above the pandemic.
