Nature of Business

GL Consultancy & Services was incorporated in 2001, providing one-stop professional services to meet the requirements of the food-processing industry. We are a corporate member of the Singapore Institute of Food Science & Technology, SIFST as well as their approved HACCP consultant. Our consultants are PMC (Practising Management Consultants) certified.

We specialise in:
• Implementing ISO 22000:2005, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 (assist in applying
   grant from Spring Singapore)
• Implementing HACCP systems (assist in applying
   grant from SPRING Singapore)
• Providing food safety training
• Customised in-house training programmes
• Conducting internal audits (e.g. HACCP, ISO 9001 etc)
• Designing food factory layout (food storage, processing and cooking)
• Obtaining various AVA & NEA licenses
• HALAL certification
• Risk assessment for notification and registration for factories (MOM)
• Designing M&E layouts (fire protection, exhaust, air condition systems)

To date, we have assisted over 400 food businesses and more than 2000 general trade companies in fulfilling the regulations and obtaining approvals from AVA, NEA, MOM, URA, BCA, FSB, HDB, JTC and private developers.

Since 2003, we have provided management systems' consultancy services to more than 100 clients and prepare HACCP plan for more than 400 companies. A wide variety of the certification scope that was covered ranging from trading, repacking, cold store, food processing to catering. The range of products includes dry foodstuffs, chilled and frozen food, raw, cooked and ready to eat products. The staff size of our clients ranges from 2 to 100. We train and guide the company in the successful implementation of the various management systems and in obtaining certification right at the 1st attempt.

Our team consists of professional engineers, project managers, drafting personnel and project consultants. Together, they have many years of practical experience and were involved in many key projects. They are known to be able to establish good rapport with their clients and flexible to the clients' unique requirements.
