CGPL incorporated on 2002 with the Registry of Companies and Businesses (ROCB) in Singapore. The principle activity is to have general wholesales trading in Singapore as well as the imports and exports of foodstuffs, fruits and vegetables, marketing and brand development/building, etc.
CGPL has got two strong overseas partners and they are;
- Haiyang Chiang Mai Thai Thong Thana Adgri-Products Co., Ltd - Packing House cum Marketing of China fresh produce in Haiyang Shandong with total cold room storage space / facility of 9,500 metric tones (approx. 450 containers x 40 feet at any one time) and 3,500 metric tones has been used as Controlled Atmosphere (CA) cold room.
- Shing Kee Lan Limited - a Hong Kong company located in Kowloon wholesales center supplying fruits & selected vegetables to major supermarkets & exporting out from China to our regional countries.
Both companies are well established in their respective local distribution networks, they also have strong contacts and distribution networking in the Asia. CGPL and these two oversea companies are working very closely, operating as partners for all the business dealings in the Asia Pacific region, capitalising on each other's strengths to handle all the respective overseas
distribution networking projects. We will always remain established and efficient for the foodstuff and fresh produce distribution networking. The aim is to work towards being a creditable player in the food industry with operations in the Asia as well as worldwide.
However, our objective is to further develop the company business by continuously identifying worldwide import and export business opportunities so as to be competitive in the food business.
With subject to the availability and various products' season, CGPL in Singapore will be importing and distributing all kinds of dried foodstuffs, fresh produce such as fruits and vegetables, etc for all local supermarkets, wholesalers and wet/dry markets, etc.
As we are always looking for opportunities to diversify into other businesses, CG Food Pte Ltd was established in 08.08.2008 trading in frozen meat & marine products.
