Hock Lian Huat Foodstuff Industry is a family owned business manufacturing traditional Chinese foodstuffs commonly know in Singapore as Ngoh Hiang Hae Biah. It is directly translated as five spice prawn crackers named after the two famous items five spice meat roll and crispy prawn cracker.
Ngoh Hiang Hae Biah is a popular Chinese hawker food in Singapore. It basically comprises of several types of items; Ngoh Hiang (Five Spice Meat Roll), Prawn crackers, Chinese sausage, meat balls, meat rolls, vegetable rolls, fish or seafood rolls and chef prawn roll, etc. served with special sweet sauce and chilli sauce.
